Better Ballot Sacramento will be collecting petition signatures at the Sacramento County Supervisor District 1 Candidate Forum, a forum for the open seat drawing engaged North Natomas voters.

Open-seat races bring out the voters who pay the closest attention, and those are exactly the folks most likely to sign a petition for fairer elections. Help us gather signatures before the forum, then stay to hear the candidates make their case.

What to expect

Look for the Better Ballot Sacramento table when you arrive. We'll have clipboards, petition sheets, and everything you need. No experience necessary, we'll get you up to speed in minutes.

Why it matters

We're building toward one goal: a Ranked Choice Voting measure on the November 2026 ballot. Every signature gets us closer. RCV means majority winners, one higher-turnout election, and 100,000 more Sacramento voters having a say.
