Better Ballot Sacramento will be collecting petition signatures at the May Day: International Workers Day celebration, hosted by the Sacramento Central Labor Council.

May Day draws Sacramento's labor community and allies together for a full day of solidarity. It's a perfect venue to reach voters who already understand what collective power can do. Help us gather signatures to place a Ranked Choice Voting measure on the November 2026 ballot, and stay to celebrate the day while you're at it.

What to expect

Look for the Better Ballot Sacramento table when you arrive. We'll have clipboards, petition sheets, and everything you need. No experience necessary, we'll get you up to speed in minutes.

Why it matters

We're building toward one goal: a Ranked Choice Voting measure on the November 2026 ballot. Every signature gets us closer. RCV means majority winners, one higher-turnout election, and 100,000 more Sacramento voters having a say.
