Better Ballot Sacramento will be collecting petition signatures at The Sacramento Juneteenth Festival, a community event put on by Sacramento Juneteenth Inc. and the many other community partners.

Better Ballot Sacramento supports the adoption of Ranked Choice Voting for Sacramento's City elections. We are now gathering signatures to place a measure on the November 2026 ballot to enact this crucial reform. Ranked Choice Voting will improve voter engagement, equitable representation, and attention to community priorities throughout Sacramento.
What to expect:
Arrive by 5:30 PM at William Land Park for a quick volunteer huddle, exact location will be communicated day of so we huddle near the event. We'll walk you through a simple script, hand you a clipboard and FAQ sheet, and get you set up at one of three entrance stations. No experience needed — the script takes five minutes to learn and you'll be paired with an experienced volunteer.** We provide clipboards, petition sheets, pens, water, and snacks. You just bring comfortable shoes, sunscreen, and a water bottle.
