Join us every Wednesday, April 29th – October 28th, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, at The Capitol Mall Farmers, Capitol Mall between 5th & 6th Streets, Sacramento.

We will have a table and volunteers stationed at market entrances with clipboards to collect signatures for our campaign.

Better Ballot Sacramento supports the adoption of Ranked Choice Voting for Sacramento's City elections. We are now gathering signatures to place a measure on the November 2026 ballot to enact this crucial reform. Ranked Choice Voting will improve voter engagement, equitable representation, and attention to community priorities throughout Sacramento.

What to expect

Arrive by 10:00 AM at our main station at 5th & 6th Streets for a quick volunteer huddle. We'll walk you through a simple script, hand you a clipboard and FAQ sheet, and get you set up at one of three entrance stations. No experience needed — the script takes five minutes to learn and you'll be paired with an experienced volunteer. We provide clipboards, petition sheets, pens, water, and snacks. You just bring comfortable shoes, sunscreen, and a water bottle.
