Join us every Saturday for the next month for East Sacramento's 34th Annual Pops in the Park event! The event is a quick two hours in a cool summer evening with live music to upgrade our local elections.

What to expect:

Look for the Better Ballot Sacramento folks by the entrances! We'll have clipboards, petition sheets, and everything you need. This event entails talking to folks in line at booths and picnicking, asking for a signature, and explaining Ranked Choice Voting in quick terms. No experience necessary, we'll get you up to speed in minutes.

Why it matters:

We're building toward one goal: a Ranked Choice Voting measure on the November 2028 ballot. Every signature gets us closer. RCV means majority winners, one higher-turnout election, and 100,000 more Sacramento voters having a say. Showing up here puts us in the heart of the city, at a time where a lot of our neighbors are gathered-- which is a perfect opportunity to reach out!
